Show Notes

We get so much information from our families, communities, media, and larger society about sexuality and a lot of times, it's unhelpful or downright inaccurate. Today I'm correcting 10 common myths about sex drive:

1. Aphrodisiacs make you horny
2. If your partner rejects your advances, they aren't attracted to you
3. Porn doesn't change your sex drive
4. Sex should last 30 minutes or longer
5. Men are always horny and ready for sex
6. Women have lower sex drives than men
7. Sex and desire should be spontaneous
8. Having a low sex drive is bad
9. Your sex drive is fixed and stable
10. Sex drive disappears as you age
